ZY Qigong News January 2010 Greetings ZYQ Friends, Grandmaster Mingtang Xu and several of this staff/senior students from Kundawell Institute are coming to the U.S. for 2-3 weeks and will be arriving in Seattle on Valentine's Day! Current Plan for Mingtang's Visit He'll be in Seattle for 1 week offering a ZYQ Forum open to the public on Thursday 2/18, and a seminar at Bastyr for local TCM students and professors on 2/19 and 2/20. Jean and Karen are also inviting him to teach their Level 1 ZY Qigong class on Wed. 2/17 at Green Lake Community Center from 5:15-7:15 p.m. and this will be open to ALL ZY Qigong students (this will be a longer class that week). We are currently working out the details and will keep you posted. From Seattle, Mingtang and his staff will also visit San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sedona, and Washington D.C. One of Mingtang's students is arranging a meeting for him with an alternative health research committee at Harvard University -- Very exciting times! This is a heads up and more news will follow. For his Seattle portion of the trip, if any of you have contacts with local media in the Seattle area, Chinese medicine schools, University of Washington, etc that would be helpful to spread the word on Mingtang's visit and the knowledge of his offerings, please do let us know. Also, a reminder to save the dates for: Mingtang's Annual 5-Day Retreat on Memorial Day weekend - Friday May 28 - Tues, June 1, 2010. Prices for this year's retreat will be posted soon. Mingtang's Personal Student retreat on Wed, June 2 - Thurs, June 3.  ZY Qigong Level 4 with Mingtang in Seattle on Saturday and Sunday - June 5-6, 2010. Note: Those of you interested in becoming ZYQ personal students must take all 4 levels of ZYQ and they do not need to be taken in order. Much Happiness and Good Qi to you all!
